16 years after meeting at Oakland's Oliveto Restaurant and a 10 year break from restaurants, Joel Bleskacek and Maxine Siu decided to take their shared love for food and wine a step further. In April 2010, they stumbled upon a vacant architect studio in their very own Potrero Hill neighborhood and construction began shortly thereafter. In line with their belief in "keeping things local", Joel and Maxine used contractors within their zip code and sourced materials all within the Bay Area.
Joel and Maxine treat Plow as an extension of their home where they often entertain friends and family. Inspiration comes from the bounty of produce in the Bay Area and Plow takes a minimalist, no-fuss approach to breakfast and lunch. It is all about bringing family and friends together to celebrate life around a table. Plow is a tribute to timeless recipes coupled with California cooking and warm hospitality.
